UfiSpace S9510-28DC 400G OpenZR+ Enabled Disaggregated Cell Site Gateway Receives TIP Requirements Compliant Ribbon
New Taipei, Taiwan, September, 27, 2022 -- UfiSpace, the leading enabler of open and disaggregated transport networking solutions, announced today that it has received Telecom Infra Project (TIP) Requirements Compliant Ribbon for their S9510-28DC disaggregated cell site gateway (DCSG) and subsequently listed the model on TIP Exchange Marketplace.
DCSG is called to foster innovation, provide more flexibility, and deliver a wider choice for service providers looking to optimize their mobile networks for 5G services. The DCSG solution was designed within TIP’s Open Optical & Open Transport (OOPT) Group and the DCSG subgroup is currently led by Vodafone and Meta.
For the tests, UfiSpace has provided S9510-28DC, a flagship model in their DCSG line-up. S9510-28DC is a futureproof solution for mobile backhaul, featuring 800Gbps switching capacity. The availability of dual 400GE OpenZR+ enabled QSFP-DD ports makes it an ideal solution to streamline DWDM network applications removing the need for using transponders for distances below 450KMs which significantly reduces network complexity and deployment costs. By default, all UfiSpace DCSGs comply with Class-C timing accuracy with S9510-28DC taking it a step further, featuring time-sensitive networking (TSN), which can help any service provider to easily provision TSN-enabled fronthaul for time synchronization critical applications.
After conducting a detailed analysis of technology supplier responses, the subgroup awarded the TIP Requirements Compliant Ribbon to UfiSpace, paving the way for its solutions to be listed on TIP Exchange Marketplace.
